pont l'eveque aop: step into the rich heritage of normandy with pont-l’évêque aop, a traditional washed-rind cheese made from raw cow’s milk and aged to perfection by mons fromages. one of france’s oldest cheeses, pont-l’évêque is a gourmet favorite celebrated for its velvety texture, square shape, and delicately pungent aroma. beneath its orange-hued, bloomy rind lies a supple, creamy paste that melts on the tongue, revealing notes of hazelnut, butter, and hay. each wheel reflects the lush normandy pastures and the centuries-old craft of cheesemaking.
yorkshire blue: made from cow's milk by shepherds purse cheeses in yorkshire, england, is a handmade cheese matured over eight weeks. this artisanal process results in distinctive blue veining, a complex flavour profile, and a smooth texture. it is made from pasteurized cow's milk and is often recommended as an excellent introduction to blue cheese because its flavor remains mild and buttery, deepening into a more complex but still creamy taste with age. vegetarian, as it is made with vegetarian rennet.
tunworth: a camembert-style cheese, is made with pasteurized cow's milk at the hampshire cheese company in england. the production method closely resembles that of camembert, resulting in a long-lasting, nutty, and sweet milky flavour. it features a soft, thin, and wrinkled rind. however, tunworth stands out with its distinctive, cleaner, and smoother taste. the cheese's maker, stacey hedges, started making cheese in 2004. after visiting traditional camembert producers in normandy, she began on her recipe to produce this cheese. using local milk, tunworth was created.
gorwydd caerphilly: a matured for longer than most farmhouse caerphillys, giving it a unique depth of flavour. this delicious cheese from trethowan’s dairy has a firm, lemony, lactic core and a creamy, more savoury layer just beneath the rind – known as the ‘breakdown’. these complex flavours have helped gorwydd win many awards, including golds in 2017 at the british cheese awards, the artisan cheese awards and the international cheese awards. despite being considered a welsh cheese, caerphilly has a long history of being made in the west country; the recipe used for gorwydd was originally used for cheesemaking in somerset at the beginning of the 20th century.

Product Delivery: Deliveries are done within 48 hours. You will be contacted by a customer care adviser upon receipt of your order to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
Food Delivery: Food delivery links on this website are via our home delivery partners and any food delivery order will be fulfilled directly on their site. All food items will be delivered in our takeaway boxes.
Cheese Box Subscription Delivery: For subscriptions delivery will be on the last Friday of subscribed months. Please ensure someone will be present to refrigerate the cheese within 1 hour of delivery.
Catering Delivery:All orders must be placed 48 hours in advance. Once you have selected your order from the menu(s) you will be given the opportunity to submit your order by clicking on the "Complete Order" button. Please note it is important that you check the information that you enter and correct any errors before clicking on the “Complete Order " button since once you click on this input errors cannot be corrected. If at any time prior to you clicking on the “Complete Order” button, you decide that you do not wish to proceed with your order, you should close the application window.
Our catering team will get in touch with you to confirm the order and delivery date & time.
Festive Roasts: Your order will be ready for pick up in the specified store as per the slot booked. Our team will contact you shortly after you place the order with further information. You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if done at least 72 hours prior to your pick-up slot. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made after this timeframe has passed.
Delivery, Payment & Returns:
On receipt of your payment, Jones the Grocer will begin processing your order and we will send you a notification by email that the payment has been received and that your order is being processed. Where any payment you make is not authorised, you will be returned to the previous page on the Website and we shall not be obliged to provide the services. Please note that once you have made your order and your payment has been authorised you will not be able to cancel your order nor will you be entitled to a refund using the website.
If you wish to return a product, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. For refunds, returns on non-retail products, cancellation penalties will apply. There will be no refunds for cheese subscriptions. Please contact us by telephone on the number shown on this website to amend or cancel the order details. The customer care adviser will be able to assist you in amending or cancelling the order if it will possible. All returns must be processed in store. We will not be able to arrange a courier to collect items for a return or exchange. Perishable items are not eligible for returns.
Please note that from time to time there may be delays with processing payments and transactions, on occasion this can take up to sixty (60) days to be deducted from your bank account.
